Great for Teaching or Reading for Pleasure
This book has a wonderful message for both adults and children. I had originally seen it in a brick and mortar store and fell in love with it. As much as I like to shop local, I do not want to spend A MILLION to buy BOOKS.

The Ripple Effect of Making a Difference
I bought this book for two families of grandchildren to encourage each person in the families to be aware of opportunities to help others. The parents of the first family (with three elementary aged children) read it to the children, and the entire family was affected to the point of making a positive plan make a difference. The second family (with one elementary daughter) took the book to school and read it to the whole class. Now the class wants to make a difference.

Great story!
Great story to read to children of all ages. I read it to my third grade class. I teach religion in a Catholic school. The kids loved the story and were fascinated that the story is true and these where real people. Good to teach them about being the face of Jesus for others and that truly "everybody can help somebody."

Great true story for children and adults alike!
I love reading this book to my 5- and 7-year-old grandsons because this story tells of a child who doesn't have a room full of toys, books, tablets, etc. The fact is everybody CAN help somebody.... A truth that is never too early to learn. "Same Kind of Different as Me" by Ron Hall and Denver Moore is the page-turner adult version, which is an excellent read. Both these books are among my very favorites!

LOVE this book.....
Excellent book to tell the story to children from the adult version, Same Kind of Different As me, which is one of my all time FAVORITE books. We need to teach our children & grandchildren how to have a servant's heart, us adults also. Both of these books will touch your heart and move you to think of others, no matter how they look or even act.

Dear way to share with children that everyone is important to others. I personally know Ron Hall and knew Denver Moore.
Ron Hall is a very compassionate. Denver Moore, who lived with Ron until Denver's death, was a very special man. Thanks to Deborah and Ron Hall, Denver was able to touch MANY people's lives for the better.

I believe this book will help children to become friends ...
I believe this book will help children to become friends with people who are different from them. To learn how to have empathy and to help when ever they are able.
