Is this good for a 1 year old

I believe the package age rating is 3+. I purchased for my 3 year old nephew at Christmas. I think the rule is that if it can fit inside a paper towel tube, it's too small for young children. The pieces are pretty big, but I don't think a 1 year old would have the dexterity to manipulate the pieces.

What colors is the hummingbird? Is it like a blue or a purple?

Hi there! The Hummingbird set has a combination of pink, blue, green and natural color. The Whale has different shades of blues!.

I would like to purchase the pouchea seperatly?

Hi, Thank you for contacting Tegu! Currently we don't sell the Pouches' Felt separately, you can get them with the Original Pocket Pouch (any colorway) and Pocket Pouch Prism (any colorway).

Can these be taken on an airplane? through the tsa checkpoint

Yes, our blocks can be taken on an airplane, and this set was designed to be a good size for on-the-go play!
