does this instantly fill in ridges? I'm looking for something cosmetic that will make my nails look smooth under the polish.

I put in two coats and then use a colored nail polish. When this dries it is a flat look, no shine but it does cover the ridges if you use 2 coats. I also add a clear shiny top coat if I want natural looking nails. Hope this helps

This is both a nail treatment and a ridge filler. I use it as a base coat. You do have to remove it before a new manicure. This does not soak into the nail.

Which product would be better to conceal staining on nail? The pink or camo?

Mine only says Makeover. But works great for me! Does not say pink or camo! I use about 3-4 coats. Works great for filling in ridges, & helps prevent breakage. Looks great on older nails.

can this be used under gel polish to help minimize damage?

I didn’t use it under gel. Used under quick dry polish but I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t. I am not the maker of the product so maybe you should get an answer from them.
