Table Mats Set of 6 Crossweave Woven Vinyl Placemats Heat Resistant Non-Slip Kitchen Placemats for Dining Table Washable Easy to Clean(White)

So I bought 2 sets of these several years ago. I like them because they can be wiped off but still have that ‘farmhouse’ look. The only thing I wasn’t liking is the orange stains that started to accumulate when anything tomato based spilled on them. Mine were starting to look really shabby and I tried soaking them in the sink, scrubbing with some soft scrub cleanser etc.. nothing worked. This week I was about to toss them when I thought to try putting them in my washing machine. I just tossed them into my washer with an old bath towel, added Tide with Bleach and some regular bleach to the wash like I would for any normal cycle. I used warm water. My machine also has a soak feature. The stains came out of all but one placemat! They look brand new! I even but them in my dryer for 2 minutes and all the creases from washing them came out! Anyway thought I would share!

Just received this item, so I can't speak to its durabilty, but I am pleased with the look and overall quality... it looks like real linen, and the contrasting stripes lend themselves to the "farmhouse chic" look I'm going for. I think this product is overpriced for what it is (I feel like it should be closer to $8 for the set/6) but when considering that prime shipping is included, it is fairly priced. I would not set a scorching hot pan or dish on top of it (that's what my pot holders and trivets are for), but it seems like it will hold up easily to the heat of a plate full of hot food, and wipe clean easily if there are any spills. Overall I'm pleased with this purchase.

I have a small table and needed placemats for it, but didn't want them to be too big because of the aforementioned table size! (How I wish for more space...) I found these and liked the simple look, color and design. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from the plastic "fabric" description but decided to give them a go. I'm really glad I did. The cost and value are good, the size is the smallest I could find, and the look is perfect in my space. I've noticed that some stains can be hard to clean because the placemats have a sort of weave to them and the food can seep in between the wave. So, it's not plastic in the sense that they wipe right off. But, I think if you wash and clean the right away then you probably won't have a problem. I waited a bit too long with a spaghetti stain and now it won't seem to go away completely. That said, you could wind up with a similar issue if you bought a fabric placemat instead.

I have a copper plated table and a farmhouse kind of themed house. I really like that these tablecloths have a little warmer tones in them (lights browns) mixed with more traditional farmhouse cooler colors (whites/blues). They’re very pretty and feel durable. I knew I didn’t want a cloth placemat because those just get dirty so quickly and require washing so frequently. These are wipeable and also hide stains pretty well (just make sure you wash them with dawn dishsoap immediately if you spill any red acidic sauce because those definitely will stain the placemats. I’m happy with this purchase, love the colors and texture, they give the dining room some personality

When i got these placemats i loved them. The color and pattern was really nice. However the slide all over which isn’t a huge negative but I do have a four year old so it is a bit annoying but more disappointing is that the stain so easily and even if you clean it right away staying remains. We had pasta and sauce and my husband splashed a tiny bit on the placemat I got up right away to clean it. I tried liquid Dawn, Lysol, you name it and the stain won’t come out!!

Completes the perfect setup for my dining table. Fabulous.
