Good quality for the $
Ordered this last week to use with an older Gen-1 NV scope for hunting. Received it yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Per some of the reviews, I was expecting to receive the light minus the 18650 battery and charger however I was pleasantly surprised to receive the following items:- The light (ofc) with a push button tail cap- the weapon mount- the weapon mounted pressure pad with on/off switch- the 18650 rechargeable battery AND USB CHARGER- a nifty little plastic carrying box, with latches and padding- and instructionsSo far I have only been able to test out the light itself with our Ring cameras and am quite impressed with the output.I will agree with some of the other reviewers that when “zoomed” you DO get a bit of a “hot-spot” from the diode (LED) itself that is noticeably visible. That may be a problem for some however I have experienced similar issues with ANY LED flashlight that has a large magnification lens and focusable beam, and I don’t think it will cause any issues for my purposes.I will update this review once I am able to use this light with real NV vs the digital NV of the cameras.Overall for the price, THIS IS AN EXCELLENT LIGHT. Especially if you are considering it as an alternative to lights of similar design that cost double, triple or even more than this one!!Long term durability and functionality will be the ultimate determining factor in my opinion.I will briefly mention that the weapon mountable pressure pad seems a bit flimsy and it likely won’t hold up to much wear and tear, especially if using in LOD or any tactical application (however that is not uncommon with pressure pads). I must admit, I purchased this light with ZERO intentions of using the pressure pad (didn’t even realize it was included lol) so that is certainly not going to make or break my opinion on this light.Bottom line as of right now:100% worth the price, and upon initial tests seems like a promising product.****Subject to change after using it in the field, but will update!

if you have an ATN 4K PRO THIS IS A MUST-HAVE IR torch
When i first purchased my ATN 4k Pro series, i was so impressed, as i had never used or owned a night vision optic.I quickly found, it is not feasible to buy the specific batteries all the time for the IR that comes stock with ATN 4K. So, after purchasing first round of batteries, i looked at reviews of THIS torch....i went from being able to see leaves/branches 'good enough' at 50 yards up in the trees, THEN i charged this one, the new aftermarket one, onto my rail. WOW!I had to turn down the power because it washed out , as in too bright/could see more detail than daytime with this torch! and i can use where i live out to about 150yards for smaller pests. i like that i can turn the glass a few turns , easily, while shouldering bulldog, and adjust the brightness. i LOVE putting it on charger rather than BUYING batteries.

Great for extending night vision range
I use a Bestguarder WG-50 Digital Night Vision IR Monocular to scout for wild pigs on the rural property where I live. That device works better than expected, and shows animals out beyond 500 yards, but the built-in illumination is a bit weak past 200 to 250 yards. The Bestguarder device includes a 7-slot Picatinny rail on the side opposite the built-in IR illuminator, so I used a 1" scope ring mount to attach this Lumenshooter IR light to the side of the IR Monocular. I turn on the Bestguarder with the built-in illuminator at the lowest setting, and then turn on the Lumenshooter light. This added illumination provides better image clarity (less grainy) out to 600 yards or more, making it easier to determine which animal I'm seeing at those longer ranges. I recharge the 18650 battery every day, so I can't say anything about the battery life, but this system is working great so far.

Great IR for the money
I was impressed with this IR illuminator at first, but after a short period of time I noticed that the light flickered and had a barred pattern. I emailed Lumenshooter and quickly received a response telling me the LED’s were probably bad. I requested the new LED’s to try and was sent a whole new light in just 2 days, no questions asked. The light now works perfect with my Sightmark Wraith night vision. I can see trees and eyes glowing at 600+ yards easily. I can make out the outline of animals inside of 600 yards. Super bright and great light for the money. Customer service was also great.

Holy crap it's bright
I know it's an ir light but works soooo much better then the one that came with my atn scope. I can now clearly see using my scope

Over priced
This IR does no more than the 18.00 IR. Ordered this to enhance night vision by night owl optics and my 18.00 IR smokes this hands down ...good case decent remote button but the IR is WHIMPY....

Better than nothing, mounting bracket is useless
Well, the crummy bracket they include, doesn't work on any of my boom sticks, ave I've got a few. I even tried modifying it, nope still no good because it doesn't clamp well enough to keep from moving... then falling off. The light itself, meh, it definitely does help with nvg's, but because you have to hold it or find another way to mount it, it's not super convenient. The battery takes about 3.5 hours or more to charge, that's just what these batteries take, better than buying more each use. The little switch leash, it's a knock off of the good ones, instead of a squeeze surface switch, it's literally a little round button on a similar looking cord to the nicer ones. I like that it's adjustable, and wasn't very expensive, also that it comes with a battery charger. If you want to mount it to something, I'd recommend just using a quality vinyl electrical tape wrapped tightly several times. Has never failed me, and won't leave stuff behind like duct tape will, unless it gets really warm so don't leave it in the sun in a vehicle. If you're going to do that I'd add one or two layers fabric first-aid tape the fuzzy type. Yes it's white tape, if it matters to you just color it with something, I use grass and dirt works great.
