is there anyway to secure to a bench

Someone said it’s heavy enough you won’t need to bolt don but mine shook all over. Also hard to access bolt holes as motor is in the way. Sure wish manufacturer was a wood turner too.

I have a chuck that is 1"-8tpi female thread (nova 48111), it doesn't fit on this lathe. what adapter should i buy?

What size wood stock can it hold? How about something like 12'' long by 8" wide piece of wood?

I think the max size recommend in the book is 4" to 6". Personally, i wouldn't put anything bigger than 4" wide. And 12" to 14" in length with standard mounts.

is there an adapter for the face plate for mounting live center chucks? I bought one but won't line up with holes?

I'm not sure if they make the adapter to mount on the face plat. I have a 2" diameter three jaw,self centering scroll type chuck that i bought from Amazon that ihave used that works great,but i think that the holes in the face plate is for mounting a backing block to the piece of wood stock to turn a bowl. It says in the manual that you glue the block to the wood your turning and use the holes to screw the block on to face plate. Hope this helped.
