this toy is so amazing

My 6 year old has been asking for this hybrid dinosaur for well over a year. To say he was elated when he unwrapped this on his birthday is an understatement. Way too expensive, but it’s excellent quality and was brand new in the box. Hopefully it lasts forever LOL.

My 4 year old grandson asked for this for Christmas. I thought it was a little pricey, but he absolutely LOVED it! It's a rather large dinosaur, and he plays with it constantly. Eight months later, everything still works. Worth every penny spent!

My grandson really likes this dinosaur, so maybe I should give it 5 stars. Pressing a button on the side make spines jut out from the spines on its back. When moved (e.g. picked up) it roars quite nicely. If I remember correctly, moving the arms down makes the dinosaur open its mouth and vampire-like teeth extend down.There are two reasons why I gave it only 4 stars. The first reason is that it doesn't have a switch to turn it off. So if you want to put it away somewhere quietly you have to be careful how to move it so it doesn't make any noise. I took it on an airplane and had to remove the batteries before I put it in my suitcase because I didn't want it to be roaring in the suitcase. Back home, I wasn't able to screw the battery compartment screw back in tightly, so the battery compartment lid is a little loose.The second reason is that it doesn't stand up very well. I don't think kids would mind because they will carry it around, but if you want to store it on a shelf, you have to balance it carefully so it won't fall over.I don't expect it to have a very long life since it is made of rather brittle plastic and can break if stepped on or dropped on a hard surface.

Awesome toy. Made from plastic, not rubber. It will last longer and looks great. Gimmicks are very cool. Spikes in back pop up. Crank the arm 10 times and he chomps automatically. Noises he makes are scary, not cheesy. A GREAT toy.

Improve the product by having the Dino stand on it's own, and not break so easily when you want the hand on Dino to open the mouth.

My son play with it all the time. I told him to be careful not to broke it because I saw some people wrote bad reviews of the quality. But I think the quality is very good and it's still working .

I bought this for my son’s birthday awhile ahead of time but never inspected it... because why would you think to inspect what was supposed to be a brand new toy. However, when he opened it on his birthday we quickly noticed that it was used. The button that makes this sound did not work and the mouth didn’t “chomp” like it was supposed to. This is a huge disappointment because what I thought was going to be the best present ever turned out to be a used and broken piece of garbage for $300.
