what's the size of the pouches?

The pouches are approximately 4" × 4-1/2".

It says "24 pouches...packed in boxes" - plural. And "Box size: 5.1*5.1*1.9 Inch" Sounds like each pouch is in a small box. Is description incorrect?

Pouches are in a plastic bag-not in boxes! Shipped in a big box. The pouches are nice quality.

These are beautiful silk brocade bags! They have an oriental presence but I am not sure where there are made! Contact Elesa Miracle ..... they sell them or send the seller an email through Amazon! I hope this helps!

Will a 3 inch round handpainted stone fit in the bags?

Yes they are quite larger then they appear, if the stone is 3 inches in diameter? it should fit may be a snug but still able to draw the string shut.
