If I lived in a house, I currently live in an apartment, I would probably run the cables into the attic instead of this, but the place is not mine to do that to. It's nice that it has the yellow caution line on top which makes it easier to see in the dark, but it won't glow in the dark. This does the trick - it holds all three cables easily. I unrolled it when it arrived and put weights on it to lose the curl for 24 hours and that helped a lot - but the length I'm using (half that provided) is still not laying completely flat. It's definitely less of a tripping hazard now, between the bundling of the cables, the yellow stripe and the fact that it lies ALMOST completely flat.
