Surprisingly great. Idk what I was really expecting but I wasn’t expecting to love these as much as I do. The knives r beautiful. The wooden handles accents the matte black blades so well, and they’re weighted really well. They’re really sharp and and I’ve used them on the line at my job all week and they’ve handled super well. I might even buy a 2nd set just to have lol. Now, to be honest their no substitute for a proper or “real” chef’s knife, but for the quality you do get in relation to the price it’s at, it’s a steal for anyone who cooks recreationally that’s looking for a decent well made knife set to take pride in. I’d highly recommend them.

I have recently started cooking again and had a problem making a sweet potato stew - cutting all the vegetables was a chore so I knew I needed to get new knives. I started looking online and learned about this knife set - which had good reviews and seems like a good choice since I didn't want to spend a lot. I have never been so excited to find recipes because with these knives chopping will not be a problem. I even tried a sweet potato - the vegetable I had so much trouble with - and the chef knife (the red one) just sliced right through it. I had no idea what I've been missing my whole life with the super cheap knives at the department store! I would definitely recommend trying these. When I was researching knives, a lot had pictures of tomatoes so you could see how smooth the cut it, so I bought one just to show in the review. The knives are very sharp, and the cuts were very clean. They also clean up nicely and I like having the color-coded protection sheaths to store them. A final note: I saw in a review that their knives had a Christmas image on the blade, but that is for a different listing. If you want the one with the Christmas design, go to this listing instead. I have had these knives for about 6 months now and they are pretty good knives. They started out really sharp, but now they have dulled a little. They still cut pretty well, but I think it's time to have them sharpened. I guess it's just normal wear and tear. They still look brand new and the handles are good and sturdy. They come with blade covers which I absolutely love for safety. Overall, I would recommend them!

Summary - These look amazing and a packaged very nicely. I have used them for about 20 large meals at this point and i will list pros and cons below. Pros ------------------------ 1 - they come very sharp 2 - they look amazing 3 - they are very light (the blade makes up 90% of the weight) 4 - the paint holds up, i have done about 20 washes in the dishwasher and several hand washes with a sponge scrubby side and there are no signs of wear. 5 - ergonomics are great. Cons---------------------------- 1 - They are light, which means they don't have that premium feel. 2 - Blade flex there is just a little but nothing you wouldn't expect from a slim blade, This has not impacted my ability to cut most things i only noticed a small amount of flex when cutting raw potatoes. Final notes ---- If the handles which are plastic due wear i plan on having wodden handles made for them

Bought these expecting to get what I paid for, cheap knives for a cheap price. Well, they are not made with all the best materials and production methods, but they WORK. Very sharp out of the box. I have knives that cost alone as much as this entire set that are nowhere near as sharp out of the box. Of course I also have high quality forged knives that laugh at these, but that is an unfair comparison. Highly recommend for anybody that needs a set of highly effective knives at a great price. They are holding up very well in the short time (but heavy use) that I have had them with regular honing. If any obvious weakness shows I will update the review. So far so great.

I just received these knives so i cant rate duribility a 5 star but every thing else is perfect. Good looking. Great secure covers. Handles seem light but feel great in my hand and give me great control of the blade. Thats good because these are Mega-Uber sharp! I bumped the paring knife with my little finger, I meen barely touched the thing, and the perfectly straight razor thin cut i got is pretty darn amazing. It didn't sting or bleed for at least 45 seconds. I didnt think i was cut at first. Now thats a sharp edge! I love these knives and at such a great price.

Bought this set a while back and I must say that the blades are super sharp. The handle is plastic of some sort and I have a feeling that if I used a dishwasher that the handle color would most likely fade over time so I only hand wash these. So far no issues to speak of, the blades are sharp and hold an edge. After a month of steady use, blades have not dulled. I like them enough that I plan to buy more! Edit 8/17/2021 So the knives are still holding a good edge and we love using them. I have to sharpen a couple of them every so often but that's to be expected. I originally gave these knives 5 stars but I have to deduct 2 stars due to the fact that the handles are losing their color. Patches of the color are wearing off and they look terrible. These knives have never seen the inside of a dishwasher. I hand wash them every time. It hasn't even been a year before this started to happen. Around April 2021 the first knife started losing its color and since then several more have had this problem. IMO the handles should not have been painted at all.

Ces couteaux avec le manche effet bois, sont de bonnes qualités et légers. Agréables à utiliser et simple d'entretiens, ils ont chacun une protection des lames. J'aime beaucoup. C'est un très bon rapport qualité prix.
