Update 8/28/2019:Bought a new phone and the app didn’t transfer so I had to re install. Well kinda sucks when the app is no longer available!! Now the camera is useless! I can’t even check it if I hear a noise at night. The whole reason I purchased this item was for peace of mind... more like piece of %*?%. Check to make sure there is an app before purchasing!!Every once in awhile the camera notifies me of motion which sucks! I got it so I can see the front of my house and who’s pulling into my driveway. Not much use if you don’t get notified. Other than that for the cost it’s a pretty decent camera

Let's start with package . Great , comes with scrues and tools for installment . The camera it self is ceramic not plastic , feels very solid. The app is make easy to work with . The only problem I had with the camera is that , if it's 50% dark (no light) and 50% bright light the camera doesn't know what to do and jumps from night vision to normal and back. Recomend this product for garages and places with valuable stuff. The app does alert when there is a movement but you ca t move the camera left or right through the phone cause it doesn't have motors

I received my package in the mail and had the camera installed and setup on my phone in less than an hour. The directions were simple. Only thing I will say is that when it says "CLOSE TO YOUR WIFI" it means close! it took me a couple times to connect as my camera was placed on the exterior of my home, but within 6 feet of the modem inside. Also, I had to turn the motion detection notifications off because it was too sensitive and I got constant notifications.

Its connected to network I can view on my phone, But it won't take a snapshot ,Says snapshot failed. Wont record a video, if you select record it closes the APP. If you select speaker(turn on) it closes the APP. What a piece of sh_t. It has to be something with your APP. the camera itself works fine, this was to replace the same make model bought 3 years ago , because it was doing the same thing.What is is wrong with the APP, FINDCAM Max. When you push either the speaker to turn on, or push Record the APP closes.Have emailed tech support for 3 weeks no reply.So after months of no reply to my emails of the APP not working; "What is is wrong with the APP, FINDCAM Max. When you push either the speaker to turn on, or push Record the APP closes." I went to the play store and found an updated APP , its now listed as FCAM Max as opposed to FINDHDCAM Max, I downloaded it and set camera up to the new APP and seems to be working now. Would have ben nice to have a reply to my numerous emails to try using this updated APP, it was released 1, 1/2 months after I emailed them

We’ve had 3 of these cameras, bought and installed them one year ago. The picture quality during daylight is very good. The sound quality is good. Unfortunately, pretty much exactly one year later, the cameras won’t connect anymore. We tried all troubleshooting tips (repeatedly) but to no avail. One might come on for a couple of seconds but then goes offline again.

Nice camera but you don’t get notifications sent to your phone when the app is closed out. You have to open the app to see what’s going on. I bought this camera to keep an eye on my car at night but wouldn’t have a clue if someone is breaking into my car , No notification !!! Also the mic did not work so I was unable to talk back. Pretty disappointed.

If you don’t have cam outside your house, this is the best one I can recommend. It’s also and indoor cam for security purposes. Clear and good quality video although it lags sometimes. This is best whe. It’s placed in an area close to outlet. Overall worth it for the value.

It will not notify me when it alerts on movement, and I do not know how to save a copy of photo.
