Paramount 3D PLA (Hannibal Red) 1.75mm 1kg Filament [BHRL3009181C]

I needed this color to make a 3D anatomical model of a human liver. This vendor had the right color for a realistic model. I was pleasantly surprised by how evenly the print came out, using a dual-nozzle printer printer loaded with the Paramount product on one nozzle, and white PLA (another manufacturer) on the other. Fusion between the white base and red model was perfect. Print temperature 200 C, bed heated to 60 C.The images show a 1/4 scale test (24x27x31 mm) print still on the bed, a 2 views of a full size (94x109x125 mm) print on my dining room table. Detail is very good. No strings of Paramount filament between model and tower.I have found that adhesion to PVA is not as good when PVA is printed at 185 C. Model could be separated from a PVA base with only slight pressure, and on one occasion, the tower was pulled over while printing with the Paramount PLA. However, the print still came out perfect, and I didn't need to soak it in warm water to release the model!I'll update this review when I've printed with this product and needed supports more complicated than a base/raft.

A bit pricey for a bland product; turning out more brownish than dark red.I was hoping for a deep red instead of the standard "clown car" red that most red PLA ships as. I think I'll have to pick a wine color, or deep iron color to get anything descent.Also, print at a higher temp than other PLAs, and practice "complete retraction" at the end of your print, this stuff seems to want to clog.

I tried on two different printers and same result, big ball of mess. I got this because I needed this color. I have printed the model with a different brand of filament and flawless. I saw others in the reviews get the same result using this filament. STAY AWAY!

The color of this stuff is really cool. Reminds me of a red clay brick but a little glossy. Prints very nicely.

Such a gorgeous color. Slightly brownish irredescent red i call a cinnamon red. Stunning. Right up there with iron red as a must buy color.

The adhesion to the bed is awful. I have 2 printers, one with a normal plastic base and another with a glass bed, neither worked well. I am printing ear guards for hospital workers and they need to be clean and issue free. They are anything but... I won't be using this company again.

I love the color, and the shipping was pretty fast. That's where my success ends. I tried this with several different settings for hot end and bed temps, different speeds and two different types of printer (Ender 3 Pro and CR10V2). I always ended up with mess on the print bed and unfortunately one super clogged nozzle (I walked away for 30 minutes and boy was that a mistake) I see several other reviews that showed successful prints, so it's possible I just got a bad batch, but something is very off about this PLA compared to the 4-5 other brands I have used.
