My daughter used this for her halloween costume. She has very straight hair, so I was worried it would not work as well I hoped. I was totally wrong! It worked perfectly and stayed in her hair the entire night with no discomfort!! I would recommend this product to anyone looking for some extra volume to their hair!!

This was a waste of money. I have thinning hair and hoped this would make it look a little fuller, but I was wrong. These things look SO fake!! They stand up so high on my head that my hair won't cover them! If you want extra lift and body, try going to a salon or beauty supply store and ask them for some ideas. If they recommend these (which I highly doubt), turn around and run in the opposite direction as fast as you can go, because they don't know what they're talking about.

These don't stand on end against the scalp but flop over on their sides when hair is placed on top of them and have few teeth deep enough to anchor them. A waste of money, but thought I would try them. Pretty disappointed especially bad for fine hair. Vendor sent in a timely manner. Great vendor just a marginal product.

I was very excited to purchase these. I just got my hair professionally straightened and I was so excited to have a "stylish, straight & sleek" ponytail. I received these and have tried to wear them on multiple occasions, but can never get it to cover the "teeth" of the combs well. I have thick hair and I tease it as instructed. Perhaps I am simply not doing this correctly - so I gave them 2 stars, but they do not work for me.

These are so underrated! They work so much better than the sponge-y ones especially for doing historical hairstyles or any kind of costuming updos. The smaller ones can also work for more of a casual style, you can get that perfect 60s/ 70s Gloria Steinem bump without having to tease the heck out of your hair. They also hold really well without clips- I shook my head around without pins to test it and it didn’t move at all- and unlike some of the other options they also don’t pull your hair out when removing them. For them to work best, ie. not fall out and not pull you hair, you do need to prep correctly. I don’t recommend using them on freshly washed hair or if you do you’re gonna want to put some product in it first, if your hair is too squeaky clean and has little to no volume then you’re going to have a harder time. If you have thick enough hair you can get away with using them without teasing at all, but you will wanna use some hair spray to keep the strands covering it in place just to make sure the bumpit doesn’t peak through later. And the last thing I have to say about them is they are super light weight and comfortable, I don’t really notice them at all. Give them a try, especially if you’re in to historical costuming!

If you're looking for more volume 1960s style, this is it. It's easy to use, and if the detailed instructions aren't enough for you, you can always go find a youtube tutorial. The bumpits blend in well to my hair (I'm a dirty blonde) and they look really cute with a headband. I let a friend try one and she wouldn't give it back, so I had to order another set. Luckily they're not expensive.

total junk. they don't stay put, and the sizes are crazy, you would have to have a huge head and super thick hair in order to wear the largest size so that one was a total waste. the ones I ordered had no instructions, so there was no way of knowing if there is a better way to use it to make it work better. save your money and find a better way to get a little extra volume in your hair.

I have been using bump its for years now instead of always teasing my hair. They work amazingly once you get the hang of getting them in place. This is my third purchase of bump its. I only have one complaint and its about all hair products like this.... us gingers gals would love an auburn color to choose. Blonde is to light and light brown is slightly to dark.
