Setup was simple.except does not scan the 3 channels as I had switched to channel 2 with the small buttons in the battery compartment so if using only 1 temp transmitter you must set it to channel 1 and set the second transmitter to channel 2 etc. I mostly only use for indoor outdoor temp. Sender about 50'to60' away on the north side under eve of storage shed. May follow up if it survives tuff Mi. winter (or not) The big numbers on the display where a big selling point easy to see across the kitchen. The backlight is nice but wont use it much in my application. This unit so far has been as accurate and dependable as any other I have. I would not have any problem purchasing another one. Found that the batteries weren't engaging properly in the station.After two days, the sending unit has shut off. Batteries tested OK.
