Very happy with the quality of the board. After looking around for a decent board and piece sets, I would definitely recommend this. The presentation is also high quality and practicality gift wrapped already. Excellent value if you want solid quality without going into the 100s or 1000s £££. My only nitpicks are: The pieces feel a little small and light - particularly in relation to the size of the board (15") - I reckon they use the same pieces for this and the smaller board. The piece storage is a bad - others have foam cut outs that fit straight back in - this board has bands that hold the pieces in place. Putting them back is rather painstaking. On the flip side, if you like the board and have or want different pieces, they will fit in the same place, although you'll have the same aforementioned issue. You can just shove them in if you don't care about them rattling around.
