I’ve been a Playtex Sport Super Plus girly for years and years. I have a very heavy flow and those were the only ones that could come close to handling the wrath that my uterus expels every month. UNTIL NOW!! I purchased these out of desperation because I started my period early this month, I didn’t want to brave the stores during the weekend before Christmas, and my normal ones didn’t have same day delivery. When I tell you, I am so bummed I didn’t find these sooner, I mean it. For reference, I worked 10 hours today on day 2 of my period (if you know, you know) and only had to change my tampie twice! And not having an applicator actually makes me feel like I’m doing my part to save the planet. I have read some reviews about problems with the twist off plastic wrapper, but as long as my hands are dry and I haven’t recently been sweating or applied hand lotion, I have found them very easy to open. If you’re trying to decide whether to purchase these, do yourself a favor and just do it!!! You’ll be on here writing a 5-star review just like me.

So, I’m not used to no applicator, which made using these an adventure. I actually ended up buying ultras with an applicator later, just for convenience. There is absolutely nothing wrong with these tampons, though! And if you have the knack for using ‘em, they’re so much more compact to carry. I had no trouble with the outer wrap, just the actual insertion.
