Heats up fast and does the job. The only recommendation is a separate on and off knob. I thought I had turned the knob clear off, only to find out a day later in a dark kitchen the red light was coming on and off. I had not completely turned it off. There doesn't seem to be a 'click' to tell a person if the burner is completely off, unfortunately.

My stove is out, so I don't plan to repair this stove nor replace this stove because it's just too expensive. This burner is under $20 which is perfect for my frugal budget. This is my favorite kitchen appliance. I still have it since last year. It heats super fast. It doesn't take much space, so it's easy to store. It is easy to transport everywhere. It's not too heavy to carry everywhere. It's straight forward-- there is no difficult instruction to learn. There is no smoke coming out of this burner which I am happy with. Highly recommended. Please make sure to plug off when it is not in use. I don't mean to turn it off, I mean to actually plug it off. Strongly advised.

These came in clutch when my stove broke. I used two of these and 2 crackpots (crockpots not crackpots 🤭) for Thanksgiving dinner. Everything turned out great (

This little burner is great right out the box. It heats up at a good speed. It will have a buring smell at first use but your suppose to heat it for about 3 mins to burn the residue off. It's great for outdoors use or personal use. The heat settings goes up to 5. And it boils water just like a regular stove. The cord is a pretty decent length. Handle with care because the surface around the burner get hots. There's also a caution label.
