The high treble notes are a bit muffled but this unit has a surprising amount of bass. Midrange sounds a bit muddy cause of the bass sometimes, but for a small speaker it is actually impressive for the sound quality. The reason for the one star off is the weird plug area and power button with the seal is a very annoying design. They should have made that part separate and not had them so close tighter.
