The Ello Kella 20-Ounce Glass Tumbler won't stain, leach or smell. Perfect for smoothies, iced coffee and everything in between, Kella is top rack dishwasher safe and BPA free. The friction fit lid has a fashionable real cork accent. For your comfort and enjoyment, this water bottle has been enhanced with a comfort silicone grip, clean tasting glass and a smoothie-approved straw. Do not microwave or freeze. For use with cold beverages only. Review: Cute, clean, and holds up well - I was pretty surprised at the quality of this. I had bought a different bottle, also Ello, and it had a crack in the bottom. Thankfully, I bought this at the exact same time, so there wasn't any worrying over this purchase. It either would or wouldn't be a quality control reject. And I'm grateful that it wasn't! I'm definitely careful with this, as it only stays on my desk at work, but there are no faults in the construction. Everything fits together well, and it's easy to hold around the top silicone cover. Obviously it doesn't insulate or anything, and since it doesn't fully seal at the top, it's not ideal for taking out to the beach or on a hike. But if you're driving somewhere, or at work, or even at home, this is perfect. Now, for my old car, this is just a little too fat to fit into the cup holder, so I think you need the wide cup holders for it to fit properly, but since I can kind of still balance it where it needs to be and it doesn't fall over, I don't consider that too much of a drawback. Especially since I only really wanted it at work, and it comes home with me on the weekends for a deep clean. It does need a cleaning almost every day, even with just water, since there can be water spots and marks from your hands, but just a quick wipe down works fine. I usually ramp up the soap usage at home and use a non abrasive sponge to help make sure there's no bacteria growing. Altogether, as long as this holds up for however long I'm employed at this office, I'm pretty darn happy with this choice! Review: Overall nice tumbler - My college has an annoying habit of using disposable plastic cups in the student market, cafe, and, upon occasion, in the dining hall. I like to do my part for the environment and use a reusable container and this baby really fits the bill. Its cute, easy to carry, fits in my (large) inner jacket pocket, and is easy to clean. It is glass so I would advise against treating it roughly and dropping it, and I don't get any plastic-y tastes if I let my drinks sit in it for a little. If I had to complain about this, I'd mention condensation (I mean its glass, what else would you expect when you put cold liquid in it?) and the plastic straw. TBH the straw isn't even that big a deal as it is first and foremost reusable so it won't wind up up a sea turtles nose.

Minimal design, clean feel, and economically kind
I absolutely love this travel glass! I like sipping on my iced tea or coffee with a straw, but I really can't stand any of the typical to-go cups with straws since they either look really cheap, tacky, or both. A lot of them just have too much going on, or are too colorful, and the clear white ones usually just look (and sound, if you've ever closed the lid on one of 'em) poorly made. The ello kella is one the best purchases I've ever made, and here's why: PROS -it's only ~$10, v financially friendly -the straw is opaque/isn't a gross plastic-y texture/BPA free -minimal design -the look of the glass just makes the drink more enjoyable because it looks so clean/crisp -easy to clean The bottle, as much as I wish it could be, sin't fully perfect but the cons are not only dealable with but also outweighed by the pros CONS: -the lid isn't the most secure (I've found that you really have to make sure the lid and the lip of the bottle are completely dry for maximum grip but even then, condensation can get the best of you). So, no you can't hold/carry it by the lid BUT this isn't really an issue since the grip is underneath and around it, meaning the lid just needs to be secure enough where if it were to tip over on your desk, it wouldn't pop out--which it is. -a little weary of how the cork will look/be after longterm use -doesn't do anything for temperature retention and it does fall victim to condensation but considering this isn't part of the product's description, I can't really complain. In order to avoid condensation it would have to be double-walled which might probably not be possible for glass especially in maintaining this same, simple look. Above all, what really makes me forget about/deal with the cons, is the price. Seen tackier, lower quality products at Walgreens for more expensive. At first I was hesitant about the glass aspect, as I am a student and I tow this along all the time so it's definitely prone to falling. I haven't had any accidents yet so I will update with any news if that should ever happen, but even if this were to shatter to bits, it's so affordable I wouldn't mind buying a replacement.

not really 20 oz. but still good and it looks cute!
I just received this bottle and I'm already trying it out. At my lunch hour I ran home to grab it. And I have been running around all day with it. Here are a couple of things I noticed. Con's 1. I feel like it is more green than teal. 2. description states it is 20 oz. Without the lid and filled to the brim the 20 oz statement might be true. BUT since the whole point of this bottle is to use it with a lid! It is more like 16.9 oz exactly.(I poured a typical bottle of water) 3. The lid feels like it's not tight enough. I feel like if for some odd reason I try to grab it solely from the lid, it will definitely just slip out and the cup will break on me. Tip: make sure you ALWAYS grab it from the gripped part. Pro's 1. It is a good size even though like mentioned above it is more like 16.9 oz opposed to it's 20 oz. 2. Feels great in your hand. Grip at the top is cool. 3. love the cork detailing. 4. It fits in a car cup holder. Win!

I love this cup
I love this cup! I have another glass cup from the same manufacturer, but this one is far superior. The lid constantly slips off of the other cup I have, but whatever caused that problem has been resolved with this one as the lid stays on tight and doesn't slip. I might be making things up in my head, but water (and tea and everything else) seems to taste so much better out of glass. Plus, I don't have to worry about any stains from coffee or tea beverages. This is made of a nice, sturdy glass material that holds up well, even with my clumsiness. I have dropped an empty cup several times on the hard wood floors in my office, and still not cracks or breaks. The wider mouth makes it very easy to clean. Be sure when cleaning the lid to use a brush to get into the flaps and folds to prevent any mold growth. My only complaint would be that the color isn't an exact match for the photo in the listing. I was expecting more of a lighter teal green color and instead it is more of a teal/emerald hybrid. It still looks great, though! Highly recommended, and I will most likely be back for another one in another color. I think the gray color might be calling my name.

Favorite Bottle - Bought for Me and Friend
This is one of my favorite water bottles. It's great for water or any beverage. There's minimal contact with plastic, and you can always replace the straw with a stainless steel one if you wanted to. It fits in car cupholders and has proven very durable. If you want something you can turn upside down, don't get this one. If it tips over, it could spill out because the cork top comes out somewhat easily and there is no tight seal. But for the office and at home, this is my go to bottle to drink out of. I got one for my best friend for her birthday, and at first she didn't seem very excited, but she eventually started snap chatting me pictures showing that she was using the bottle a lot and that it had become her favorite too.

Very pretty, FITS IN CAR CUPHOLDERS!
Pros: Love this glass tumbler. Very pretty! Holds just the right amount and fit in car cup holders!! Keeps things relatively cold. The detail around the neck is very handy, at first I thought it looked silly but it is actually very necessary and useful when the cup is condensating and slippery. A very nice sturdy grip! Love it!! Cons: The lid isn’t very tight. I don’t think it would come out if tipped over but it would leak. It’s nice to have it there though to keep bugs out and to keep the straw secure. I would buy this again if it came in white!!!

Good glass, horrible lid.
Okay, so its a really nice glass. It's perfect for ice coffee, fits in car cup holders, not to heavy, its a very thick glass so it wouldn't be as easy to break, its dishwasher safe and easy to clean. But the lid is extremely lose. Its just resting on the glass. It will definitely not protect against spills. If it tips or falls you will have a mess. I do not like the straw, but thats a personal preference. But my metal straws work perfectly. So the product is good, but the lid is completely useless and more for esthetics

Perfect!
I love this water glass! It's made me drink a lot more water lately, just because it's so cute and easy to carry around. It fits in my car's cup holder perfectly. The lid does not have a strong hold, but since there's a hole in the lid for a straw, I'm not planning on throwing this in a bag anyways so I'm not concerned about that. I love that I can throw the body in the dishwasher - I haven't tried the straw in there yet but it seems pretty durable. The lid I will only hand wash because of the cork detail - a minor nuisance but it makes the cup so cute I don't mind! I have used this for grabbing cold beverages at Starbucks to save on single-use plastic cups and it is fabulous for this. Iced drinks will lead to condensation on the outside of the glass, but this is to be expected with any material that is not double-walled. For the price, you can't go wrong here!

Excelente y muy útil
Está super bueno este vaso. Los materiales son de excelente calidad y nos sirve mucho para tener agua en la cabecera de la cama, sin temor a derramarla encima de la cama o encima de nosotros, gracias a su cómodo popote.

Was fine if not a little heavy
Was a bit too heavy for me but made well, took ages to come but then didn’t realise it was not coming from UK

Glass jar is thick and the straw is not flexible
Overall happy with the product. Couple of things to notice for new buyers: -Cork topper is only for aesthetics, possibly only about 2-3mm max thick, and the inner is the same material as the rim, plastic -Straw is about 10mm/1cm thick, and is NOT soft or flexible.

bonito
fue un regalo, le encanto. Es de vidrio y la tapita es como de corcho con platico, el grip es de silicon. hasta el momento no se ha hecho feo.
