The material is wonderfully soft, plush, and thick—not cheap, thin, and flimsy like many costumes out there these days. I also love that it has pockets. The only thing I'm disappointed about is the sizing. Based off the sizing chart, I should be a Medium/Large. So I went with that. When I first tried it on at home, I thought it'd work fine, but once I was out and about walking around in it, I discovered that the legs came up too short, as did the arms. Plus, the hood doesn't fall nicely over my head like it'd prefer. Rather, I have to really try to stretch and yank it down over my head, and it falls off pretty frequently. I'm a 5' 10", 147lb woman with a size 36 bust, in case that helps you figure out what size you would need. If I would have had more time, I would have sent this one back and ordered the next size up, because it really is a lovely costume. But since I don't have time, I'm just making due with this size.
