This toothpaste contains Hydroxyapatite. It is an alternative to fluoride but please do not solely avoid fluoride. Fluoride is highly beneficial to oral health. Hydroxyapatite is too but may not have as many cavity fighting properties. I would alternate between hydroxyapatite toothpicks and fluoride. This is so you can achieve benefits from each mineral.

Love the ingredients, great to find a toothpaste with only the necessary ingredients in plastic-free packaging (not lid). I've used both the charcoal and mint versions. I drink a lot of tea so I thought a charcoal toothpaste would be good for whitening. The taste is completely different to a normal toothpaste, frankly the charcoal was not very nice but I got used to it and was soon fine with it. My partner, on the other hand, couldn't cope so we've swapped to the mint version which tastes a lot better. The toothpaste seems very effective and is a normal toothpaste texture (maybe slightly grainier?). A few points on the packaging: - the tube split in the last week of use - I used a tube key towards the end to get all the product out - be gentle in pressing as it often continued coming out! It is expensive, but for me it's worth it for a clean, plastic-free and British product.

I'm quite underwhelmed by this Georganics Fluoride Toothpaste with Activated Charcoal. Despite its claims for sensitive teeth, cavity prevention, plaque fighting, and fresh breath, I haven't noticed any significant overall improvements or benefits. The one positive I can point to is that the front surface of my teeth does feel remarkably smooth for up to 24 hours after use, which I suspect is due to the hydroxyapatite. However, that's where the positive experience ends. My biggest concern, however, lies with the fluoride content. I previously used a fluoride-free toothpaste exclusively and never experienced any dark stains on my teeth during that time. Given that I've accumulated dark stains since incorporating other fluoride-containing products into my routine, I am highly concerned that this toothpaste may be contributing to, or at least not preventing, this issue. For a toothpaste priced at £4.90, the limited benefits and the potential for staining make this very poor value for money. It simply falls short of expectations and raises questions about its overall effectiveness and suitability, especially given my experience with staining.
