STAY AWAY! THIS MIC WILL RUIN YOUR VIDEOS!
I have NEVER written a review for any Amazon product EVER, but this mic was so awful that I knew I had to write something. And just to be clear, it wasn't just a one off faulty unit. I had a replacement sent to me, which also didn't work. The audio was so overbearingly crackly that even some of the best audio engineers I know were not able to fix it, sending me emails like "How the hell did that happen", and "This is terrible." The videos were busts, and I have nothing now but my ability to write to warn everyone out there who may be where I was, looking for a good mic that won't break your bank, to STEER CLEAR of this one! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go look for another mic...

Improves audio
Mic improves audio immediately to take videography to the next level. Still not a "pro" mic but much better than any internal camera mic. Seller provided accurate description and product arrived on time.
