Yes. I have attached mine directly to my kayak and use an anchor trolley to position the kayak, not sliding the Sidewinder along a track. I recommend this system.

Q: will this work on a bigfish 105 or do I need adapters?

The Bigfish 105 features a different profile track that is different than the rest of the industry. For all Joy Sports brands of kayaks including Feel Free, Jonny Boat, 3 Waters, and Seastream the use of a YakAttack Feel free Unitrack adapter will be needed to attach any track mounted accessories like the Sidewinder. YakAttack FeelFree UniTrack Aluminum Kayak Adapter, 6 pack, adapter plates only (AAP-1012-6)

Q: If you have a low profile Scotty track, will this work without having to find any adaptors?

Yes. Although I attached mine directly to my kayak, it could be mounted on any track, drilling easily through the plastic of the sidewinder (if necessary) to slightly enlarge the bolt openings. I use an anchor trolley instead of moving the Sidewinder along a track, and recommend that system. I have used it for years, after trying other methods, because it keeps the mess of the anchor and line completely out of the kayak. Also, I find the Bruce-style claw galvanized anchor in the small 2.2 lb / 1 kg size to hold best in any situation, compared to the folding anchor, and it fits great in the Sidewinder. To avoid an anchor lost due to snagging, the anchor cord can / should be attached, not directly to the anchor, but with a small plastic wire-tie that breaks if tugged hard when directly above it.
