How does the tree adhere to the wall?

There is a satin ribbon loop at the top of the tree. As another person answered, I used a Command hook on the wall. It's working great.

Do you have to cut the tree out using a pattern? or does it come ready to use? i’m just confused because it says diy tree.

From what I remember as think I purchased this a year or two ago, the DIY part is for you or the kids/grandkids to just put the ornaments on the felt tree which is already cut out. I also think the Velcro pieces are on the tree'; however, that part I don't remember and currently can't get to my Christmas deco boxes in the garage. Have fun as it is a really cool thing for the little ones.

How do you get the tree to stick to the wall?

I didn’t stick it on the wall, I hung it on the door knob. If I was , I would try the commando strips. They won’t tear your wall up!
