Inaccurate readings. I was having a hard time balancing the chemicals in my tub. Until I bought a different brand of strips whose results contradicted what I got from those. Ultimately, the new strips were more reliable, so I ditched those.To give one example: those strips kept reading chlorine in my water, but I use bromine (I tested the water before adding bromine and it didn’t show any chlorine or bromine).

I bought these when I was running out of my previous brand (which I use to test every few days) thinking to save a little. I also test with a Taylor kit with reagents on a bi-weekly basis. Used this new set to test and they are not at all accurate, while the old strips and my reagent tests were both in agreement. Hardness reading was WAY low, Bromine read nothing, and PH was WAY to the acid side. The only measurement that was close was alkalinity.

Ruined my tub!!! I used this brand for the first time in March of 2019. As like many others that have complained they are extremely inaccurate. Results said that my PH and alkalinity very way off. So I kept adding chemicals .. then a scale starts to form on all my jets, in my pipes and on my tub. I finally went to a local store and had my tub water tested. It was so far off that not only did I have Drain the tub, cause the water was so bad, but I had to treat the water first so that my pipes could be descaled. It took days and very caustic products. I wish they would refund me the time and frustration I had to deal with

Easy to use and highly accurate. I have used these then took a sample to the pool store where they used their computer and it was the same results, with no chemicals to deal with.

I purchased these strips because the bottle that came with the tub didn't have a true reading. These strips are easy to read and give you enough information.

I kept getting readings of no chlorine in my hot tub even though I was adding Chlorine. I finally poured chlorine bleach over the strip and it still showed no chlorine. I have been burning my skin from high levels of chlorine because of the faulty readings from these test strips. They are dangerous.

Tested our water and it said it was WAY off in PH. WE adjusted the PH and it read the same the next day. Tested it against 2 other brands of strips and reading was exactly the same on both of them and this one was WAY OFF! This product DOES NOT WORK!... Save you money and buy another brand. You won't ruin your spa water or waste money on chemicals or strips.

The indicators on the strip do not match up to the label on the bottle color wise so I do not know if I am reading it right or not. On other products the colors matched the indicators better.
