Shurtape MB 100CT Metal Building Insulation Tape

This insulation tape is great for rips in the insulation. We use it at our storage facility where customers make rips and tears in the ceiling and wall insulation on a regular basis. The tape is sticky enough to adhere and mend any rips. Been using for a few years now and haven't noticed any drying or cracking in the old repairs.

I use this for vinyl backed insulation in pole barns etc. Also work fantastic for vapor barriers too. Serious great adhesion. If I could change one thing though, I would put a split in the middle of the no stick backing so it would be easier to separate. It's not HARD to separate, but sometimes it can take longer than to peal than you'd prefer - if you know what I mean? Great product no matter what. Holds up excellent and very strong. fast delivery too. That I really like even more.

This tape even sticks to wet material. When it sticks it's not going to come off. I used it to repair some insulation up in the roof of my storage unit. It was torn and I had tried other tapes. The other tapes didn't work. But this tape is great. Light weight but hard working

Tape would not adhere to my pole barn insulation at all. This seems to be a common issue. I promptly returned it.

This is the same tape that the installers used to seal my insulation in my work shop. I use it to patch holes I put into my insulation when moving long sharp objects around. The tapes works well and blends in with the insulation covering the repairs.

This is my second roll of this tape. First roll was used to patch holes and replace the old tape on the insulation in my metal building. Where I was able to sufficiently clean the vinyl insulation it sticks great, not clean not so great but to be expected. I also used this to patch an older car cover (see attached pic for material type) that was separating due to age. After several rainstorms, lots of sun and heat, its still sticking great.

I needed a performance tape to seal Kraft back (R-19) fiberglass insulation and this checked all the boxes and at a competitive price point. I will order again!
