## Description

**Q: Can this set be supplemented with open stock/**
A: Yes. There are 120 total colors. This set includes 72 of those colors. All 120 colors including the transparent blending medium stick can purchased open stock (individually) at art stores.

**Q: Does this include the oil blender stick?**
A: Sorry, I am not aware of anything called an oil blender stick.  To do any blending with oil pastels, I would use a small water color brush and Turpinoid or other solvent.  I think an oil blender stick sounds interesting, and I'll look into it.

**Q: Does the assorted set of 72 include the colors in the portrait set?**
A: Yes

**Q: Can these be using on top of acrylic paints to finish out a canvas?**
A: OP on top of acrylic is fine. Acrylic on top of OP is not at all fine.

Works in OP are not easily made to be archival and OP always remains workable, while acrylic dries. Fixatives aren’t necessarily a great solution for a mixed media painting but then again maybe you’ll find one that works for all your media, and OP is generally framed under glass. (I have seen some very impressive videos for epoxy on top of OP on wood panels, which would probably work fine with acrylic.) If your intention was to use OP more like a drawing medium on the tip, you might want to look into oil sticks, which are similar to OP but are oil paint so they dry eventually, and are therefore archival without preparing large amounts of epoxy
