Was looking for SATA power for a new SSD and some light strips, and this looked like the nicest option since I have next to no cable management space. For it to work, you will have to clip off the grip clip thing, since the power supply centers the grip hole over all eight pins instead of the main six of the cable. Fits snug enough where it won’t be a problem!

I was in a pinch at work and this wire came through for me. This allowed me to use the cables to get power to my GPU 6 pin.

I used it to power a graphics card. My HP desktop had an open SATA power supply.. The GPU power needs did not exceed the PC power supply.
