How does the final step work to transforming it from Optimus to the truck? I can't get the front cab to shift down so it's level with the rear wheels

My son helped me with the step by step. Put the head back. Put the fists back and straight. Rotate the top portion of his body around 180'. Snap the legs together. Push his middle into the rest of his body. and bend his body portion perpendicular to his top portion. Then swing his arms in over his legs and snap them down to his legs. Its a truck.
