Q: Are these good for bunions?

Yes, I’ve worn them with bunions until the condition became severe enough to require surgery. The same size with the wide width works after surgery as well. The toe box was wide enough, and the material more flexible than leather. Also, the band around the shoe opening stretches. Always get the wide width in Clark’s Cloudsteppers for this condition.

Q: How durable are these shoes? Is the synthetic nubuck as durable as other materials? How do you clean them and can you wax them? Thanks.

I’ve had mine for just a few months but they’ve shown no wear. When I need to, I’ll clean with a damp cloth. I don’t plan to put any wax on them.

Q: Are the insoles really washable?

I haven't had them long enough to try washing them but they sure look like they are washable; the innersoles are like a knit material.

Q: Can you take a comfortable walk in these shoes?

Yes definitely. I have worn them when walking my dog. They are not the same as workout shoes for more than a couple of miles, but definitely good for walking.
