Updated review 02/15/2023: These cherries are fantastic. My original review was poor because I received a bag that tasted like plastic. The seller contacted me directly and gave me a 100% refund and a 20% off coupon. They assured me that all the great reviews were reflective of the product, so I offered to try another bag and update my review if they tasted better. The new bag had none of the plastic taste and really are great cherries. I can only speculate, but I am guessing that the first bag was either stored or shipped improperly by Amazon (who ships for the seller) which caused the off taste. The seller really did everything they could to ensure my satisfaction and they were great to deal with. I will buy from them again. Original review: These cherries are disgusting. They would be great, but unfortunately whatever they used for packaging imparted its taste into the cherries. I bought this brand because Amazon didn't have the usual brand that I buy, and they use a different type of plastic which does not give the off taste that these have. I am totally puzzled at how these can have such good ratings. They are gross.

The contents of the packet are fine - tart dried cherries with good flavor. The problem was with Amazon's shipping of same. Cherries from the seller come in a heavy plastic bag with a resealable (zip-lock) top. So far, so good. But, in the current freezing temperatures we're experiencing, I suspect that heavy plastic bag became quite stiff, almost brittle, during shipping. If Amazon had packaged it in a small box, I'm sure things would have been fine, but, of course, Amazon packed the plastic bag of cherries in one of Amazon's plastic bags, and I'm sure it got crushed by other items on the truck. When I opened the outer Amazon bag, I discovered that the plastic bag the cherries were packed in had split at the bottom, and about 1/3 of the cherries had spilled out. I recovered most of them and patched up the original bag with tape. I've been receiving more and more crushed items that come shipped in an Amazon bag.

A good flavored tart cherry. It does have sugar added. A good alternative to dried cranberries. These are larger than normal dried cranberries.

Great quality dried cherries and on-time delivery. I have used these for years and they are the favorite in our house for baking and oatmeal cookies.

I love how moist and tart these cherries are without being oily like others. I enjoy them so much I have them on auto ship so I don’t run out of them. I highly recommend and use them daily in my mix of nuts and oats. I received a bag of cherries before today 9/30/23 that I received already open. I don’t feel comfortable using this bag because it’s open and I don’t know what to do about it as it cost $40. I’ve always been very happy before but this time not so much I hope this company will reach out to me please as I really love these cherries. 7/24/24 This months subscribe and save came with 2 bags of cherries in different boxes, one was in perfect condition and the other one was sweaty and moist and the cherries were plump and tasteless I am still trying to use them but I don’t understand why this happened and may not order them again as this has been a second time I have received an order that isn’t useable because of the condition it has been in when I received it. I hope your company can figure out how to make your cherries arrive in better condition as they are really delicious when they arrive in perfect condition.
