My elderly dog’s eye stopped producing tears, which caused all sorts of problems. Her eye was fire engine red and it and her nose were goopy and gross. The vet suggested these drops before trying a prescription medicine because it would have some nasty side effects. These drops worked wonders and as long as we put them in twice a day, she hasn’t needed anything else. Definitely worth a try if your pet is in a similar situation.

This Optixcare eye lube was recommended by the Vet for out rescue dog. Our dog only has one eye that could be saved due to her sad past abuse, and the Vet felt the use of this product was the best chance of keeping the remaining eye healthy. Our dog has no natural moisture in her eye, and this eye lube is working amazingly well to help her. In our dogs case, we need to use it several times daily. It's very easy to use, and doesn't seem to cause any discomfort to our dog when used. It's clear, has no odor, and doesn't stain. I would highly recommend Optixcare to others needing a solution for their animals dry eye care. I've been very pleased with the results for my dog who has a very severe problem with her eye.

Great stuff - I’ve ordered many times for my dog who has a non working tear duct in one eye. My only complaint is the quality can vary. Every few orders I’ll get a batch that doesn’t work as well and gives my dog issues where I need to give him multiple drops a day and his eye still gets crusty. Usually he only need one drop in the morning and another at night with no issues. If they can sort out quality issues I’d give it 5 stars! It’s been so helpful for relieving my pups eye issue.

Works great for my little dog who has eye issues. She gets this 3 times a day to lubricate her eyes and it has helped protect her vision. She also has rx drops but this lubrication helps her maintain the vision she still has. And helps her be more comfortable.

This stuff is a little thicker than water. The stuff I got from my vet is a gel which leads me to believe that this is old or defective. Unfortunately the return time is passed but I won't be trying to save a buck by buying it here. You tip it down and it starts coming out. UPDATE: I did contact the manufacturer of the product. They did have a batch that came out less vicious. It is perfectly fine and has been tested. You still need only one drop per eye. It's perfectly good and safe to use.
