It fits into my space perfectly and medium size was great for my chihuahua and a jack Russell. I bought it because I thought my dogs do not like to cuddle, but I was wrong, they still end up on top of each other and complain loudly, although there is enough space in the bed for both of them! Because of the color the hair is not very visible. I loved to wash the covers because you can completely dismental the bed and wash all the hair out - great to control flees! All parts are on a zipper, easy to take off and put back together. The little pillows on the sides are a little too soft they do not keep the form if the doggie is right on top of it, but it’s not a problem for my dogs. He is 25 pounds and I bought the medium size. Fit is perfect. He snuggles down and very quickly the snoring begins. I did cover with a blanket to cut down on how frequently I would have to take the cover off to wash. When it first arrived, it was a pain to stuff the fluffy stuffing into the zippered sections of the bed. Took me between 20 to 25 minutes.
