Spanning the 1960s–1980s, this science-fiction-themed second volume of our complete Guido Crepax library features, in addition to adventuress Valentina, two more of the famed Italian erotic artist’s heroines. Marianna is a mysterious friend of Valentina’s (or is she? And why do they look so alike?). Belinda is a motorcycle-driving, pop art action star inspired by then-contemporary characters like Barbarella. In The Time Eater, Valentina meets a curious couple in an asylum, encounters strange creatures on a photo assignment, is caught in a Rube-Goldberg-like death trap, and much more. Review: Amazing work! - This volume is way better than I expected. I followed Crepax’s career since the sixties, but there were many gaps between the stories, some were published here, some there. Some parts of Valentina’s life were unclear. But with just this volume, Things got clearer. I will surely get all the rest. Review: Looks Gorgeous on the Shelf Next to Volume 1 - The second volume in this massive, complete and amazing collection of Crepax's work. The book looks really good on the shelf next to Volume 1. There's a different head shot of Valentina on each spine along with the volume number, title, and an 'FB' for Fantagraphics Books at the bottom. The cover has tactile and interesting pock-marked quality. On the interior, there's more Valentina and that's always a great thing for the fans. I highly recommend this series to fans and those who are curious about Guido Crepax. Great work, Fantagraphics Books!

Gorgeous! as expected.
Like the first one this second volume of "The Complete Crepax Library" by Fantagraphics completely satisfies my expectation. The exceptional surreal adventures of Valentina continues here with full glory. The other stories and adaptations are not the best of Crepax but definitely not below standard. They are readable and enjoyable. The Physical quality of the book is just great. Everything regarding the book (binding, papers, printing) is very mush satisfactory. Overall, it is a well put together book. Should be in every comics lover's collection.

Fantagraphics delivers another beautiful edition celebrating the legendary work of Guido Crepax.
Fantagraphics delivers another beautiful edition celebrating the legendary work of Guido Crepax. This 2nd volume has more of Crepax's Valentina. These are mandatory reading for fans of intelligent graphic novels with eroticism. Though I purchased the Kindle version, I will be purchasing the hardcover edition as well because I cant imagine not collecting them all. Thank you Fantagraphics for honoring Guido Crepx with these beautiful and complete books.

Truly Original Comic Art by One of the Greatest.
This is an amazing, beautifully produced collection. It's not cheap but, once you see it, you will wonder how they could sell it for this price. Crepax has long deserved this kind of treatment. Buy it and see the work of a true original.
