12pcs 6mil Blank Stencil Material, 12 x 12inch, Milky Translucent- Make Your own Stencil

I purchased this to make stencils for paper crafting. It works perfectly! I used my Cricut Explore Air 2 (Used stencil setting with double cut) and also tried with my silhouette cameo (also used stencil setting, but had to change to 3 passes). Made perfect stencils with both machines! Will definitely come back for more when I run out of it. Great price too!

Used to make stencils for a cake design. When using with a cricut use strong adhesive mat a tape down ends.

I had never made my own stencils before so definitely taking a bit of a guess when buying this. But I am so happy I did! I used these with my Cricut to make stencils to use with polymer clay. I cut using the Acetate setting with More pressure and the Fine Point Blade and it worked so well. They cut so cleanly! I used a StrongGrip mat and pressed it down with a brayer to make sure it was secured to my mat and it didn't move at all. Almost everything popped out when I pulled it off the mat and the little that didn't was easy to remove with my weeding tools. Honestly this cut way cleaner than a lot of other materials I have used over the years. I've been using the stencils I made with polymer clay and it's been working great. It doesn't stick to the clay. I used a couple with Mica powder, which did stain it a tiny bit but hey that's Mica powder for you, but it wiped/washed up really easily and doesn't leave residue on new clay. Definitely would recommend and if I end up needing more sheets, will be buying again.

The product is great. Easy to wash off paints. Material could be cut better and more accurately. But great overall will be buying a 12x24 soon.

I like that this material is translucent ( to keep track of small masks) and it is not as flimsy as the clear ones from other brands. The thickness is comparable of those of some stamp/craft companies.It is easy to die cut using a manual craft die cutting machine and craft steel dies.I wish it had a sturdier storage option -as it comes in a clear cellophane bag- but the product works fine. I cut mine with a paper guillotine to create my own 6x6 “ stencils, the end got caught at the end of the blade, my fault, that is why it has a torn corner, I think in the future I will use a plain straight edge and exacto knife. I have yet to try creating using an electronic cutting system.

I use this product for creating stencils. I use it with the suggested plastic/wood burning machine. It is great for stencils but since i use it for Facepainting stencils I noticed it is a little on the thicker side. When I looked up the right plastic to use i was told to go with 4mil for face stencils but purchased this as 6mil to stay on the safer side. Even though 6mil is great and works i do notice the slight difference if i would have gone with thinner plastic. Its perfect for stencil making though and the price is good compared to craft stores.

I bought this to make stencils and wreath builders and it works beautifully. Let me answer some questions I had before and after I bought this: For the Cricut Air Explore 2, I placed the setting at custom material, chose stencil (4mm), and changed the "default" pressure to "more" -- and it cut the first time. You don't need the deep cut blade, I used the regular blade, but the deep cut would work too. Before I changed the default to "more," I had to cut it twice [pro tip, if it doesn't cut through the first time, do NOT unload your mat from the machine, instead press the "GO" button again and wait a few seconds and it will RECUT exactly in the same place!]. For the Gemini Jr., add your metal shim (the one for intricate cuts). I made a grass/cloud/hill/fence stencil and I love it (see pics!). One note, for the wreath builder, the material was not quite thick enough for my liking (it's ever so slightly thinner than the Gina K.), so I cut a thick cardstock (110 lb Neenah) to place under it and glued them together. Now it's better than what you can buy in stores, imho. Hope this helps!

I absolutely love this material for my stencils! I have successfully ordered and used two packages previously. Unfortunately, we are now down to a 50% success rate because the last two times I've ordered, it's been shipped in flimsy packaging and the last batch I received was completely unusable because it had been damaged in shipment. The most recent package I will try to use, but there is a dent right in the middle of this stencil material. Unfortunately, if this company doesn't change its shipping packaging, I will have to purchase elsewhere. Happily, it's not exorbitantly expensive and there are multiple sellers. Amazon exchanged the badly ruined batch for a new batch with no problems, so that helps. Unfortunately, the replacement, as I mentioned, is also damaged.
