Gray Coast, 10 kg / 22 lbs

First let me say I love Seachem products but this sand is awful. I rinsed this for over an hour and could not get water to run clear. It just looks like ash. I could not in good conscience add this to my tank and risk this soot covering all my corals. Sorry Seachem but this item is terrible.

Came in the correct package and it looks incredible.The sand is gray and the best way to rinse is to use a fine mesh fish net and scoop 10oz at a time in and run water through it till it runs clear. Results are spectacular.

Shipped with a slit in the bag so arrived about 90% empty...I've had this same sand before and the grey/silver color looks awesome under reef lighting, look to purchase local if you can.

Product seems good other than the fact that it wasn't in the package shown. typically seachem substrates have a nice easy rinse package like shown. Mine was in a seachem "tidal" package, which I believe is their older stuff. Upon opening, the foul smelling package also wasn't sealed allowing a lot of the substrate to leak out of the package. I'm not incredibly thrilled right now.

Im using it in my125 gal frontosa and kelberi peacock bass tank i like it so much i just paid 17 dol to get another bag with one day shipping fine enough sinking food doesn't get lost coarse enough not to blow aroundOk its not available for one day shipping and i wasnt charged shipping for it.i still have another bag coming and its worth the wait

This package had been opened then sealed closed with packing tape. So, I am not sure if the substrate was new or used.

Product was more white silt than black sand. I cannot see any black sand in my tank.
