UPDATE: These do not hold up to a large human knocking them over ... one broke in several places. I was going to replace it, but alas, this was no longer available. I'd knock it down a few stars for the price point based on durability. After having the traditional "baby gates" which were both too tall for some of us to easily step over as well as damaging to the walls, it was time to find a new solution. After reading the reviews I purchased two of these for our entryways to keep our french bulldog on the backside of the house. She is already trained and not a climber, so she has not bothered to move these or knock them over (though we humans have once or twice). A feistier dog could move these or jump over them, in theory. These come assembled and are tri-fold, making them easy to fold up and carry to a new spot when needed. They are painted wood and are quite sturdy. They are nice looking, too. My only concern was they did not come with rubber or felt feet to protect the wood floors. I added some myself, which help keep them in place as well. I'd purchase them again.

These are great for our 10 and 25 lb dogs. They give the cat some respite from the dogs, keep them out of the kitchen while we cook, and are pre-assembled.

Bought to keep my 20 lb dog from going upstairs. Works great!! Heavy enough for him not to move but light enough for me to move. And it's cute too...looks much better than most gates!

The product is short, heavy, and stable. My only complaint is that it is quite sharp on the edges. So, if you are not careful and hit your foot on the gate, it hurts more than it should.

This gate is so well made. The wood has a nice weight to it, the finish is beautiful and the hardware is sound and secure. Super happy with this gate, I have 3 dogs medium sized (25-30 pounds) and neither of them can get over it.

I purchased this to block my stair landing so my 15 month old grand baby can't get to the stairs. Works like a charm. I love that it's foldable and I can manipulate it around my bottom stairs as the opening is not straight across. Not really a baby gate but it's working fine as one when the grand baby is over for visits.

I have two likes and a few dislike One like: keeps my puppy and my other older dog in one room or any rooms. Two:very easy to storage it away!! Dislike about it 1: Walking over it keeps falling over when your kinda in a hurry. Or not lifting your leg completely Falls over and close up when it smacks on the floor or rug. Very very loud sounds. 2: when you trip and fall with it…it can do a very big damage to your achilles. Like slicing a thin or think slice of turkey deli. 3: very heavy if you already have a bad back or elders in the house. 4: all the edges are very sharp. It’s not dull. But over all it’s beautiful and I love the design but sadly can do a pretty good damage to your foot or Achilles. Just wish it wasn’t so heavy and the edges are very sharp like knives

Perfect for my Frenchie!

Very good barrier for a hyper pup. Just afraid she might tumble down the stairs before she learns how to get down. Works well. Good quality and easy storage.
