Astonishing for the price.
These are possibly the nicest socks I've ever had apart from hand-knitted pure woollen ones. They are SUPER warm - too hot for summer hiking so I'll keep them for chilly days and winter. My only gripe is that they are a little short in the ankle, so while they feel like winter socks, they look like summer ones. They wash well, maintain shape and dry incredibly fast, which is also a great boon to hikers. If they were an inch longer in the ankle I'd love them even more, but really not worth reducing the five stars awarded. Seriously tempted to toss out all my random old socks and stock up on these!

Great socks
These socks are excellent quality, thick wool and warm to wear. I suspect if you are in the mid size range these socks would be perfect and they did stretch surprisingly well. At first I thought they would be far too small as I am a size 7 and they look very small when they arrived. However despite feeling a little tight when I first wore them they did stretch quite well.

Comfortable Socks
Actually very comfortable and good looking socks. Wash well and seems like they will last a good while :)I'm a dog walker so they get a tough trial with me, not had any bad rubs and they haven't fallen down or bunched.
