Excellent Product!
These are fantastic and a real steal at the price. They’re solid for ultra light weight gear. I wouldn’t expect them to hold up to pounding into bedrock but I’ve used these in marshy, soft/silty, rocky and dry/thickly rooted soil with no problem. As for easy removal I must confess that I spliced 5’ of zing-it to each of them before using so they were VERY easy to remove from the ground.

Flimzy enough to bend/break under light usage
This kit comes with two different styles of stakes. Half of the stakes resemble long nails, and the other half resemble skeletonized angle irons. This review pertains only to the stakes that look like skeletonized angle irons. I did not take the other stakes on my trek.These stakes are lightweight, but they bend and break very easily even under light to moderate usage. I can't imagine that they would hold up at all in rocky soil. DO NOT use a mallet or hammer or rock to drive them into the ground. DO NOT try to press them into the ground with your foot (boot). ONLY use firm hand pressure to push them into the ground. Stack rocks around them after they are set to prevent any accidental stepping onto the exposed ends of the stakes because this will bend them over too.I suspect that the stakes that look like nails would hold up better, but they are heavier, and they don't look like they would have a good way to catch and hold the guylines for my tent.

The pegs are heavy -for titanium-, and very strong. On a hot day you can hummer them into blacktop. Large Vs are great, 1gm lighter than the peg, strong and hold well snow and soft soil. Small Vs are ok. Very light, bent one of them in grassy soil. Good holding power. I'd buy the large V again if they are sold separately.

Excellent value for money
This set is awesome, excellent value for money. Finishing of titanium pegs is flawless. The reflective cord tie-outs are great though because they were not cut with a heat knife (or burned with a lighter), the ends have a tendency to fray. The canvas roll is very solid made of top quality materials.
