Agave
Love this brand. I used to use it between the times I am out of natural raw honey, but lately I have been using it as a primary sweetener. It is a healthy alternative for me and very versatile. The taste is so subtle and adds a great flavor. The texture and consistency is like a light syrup but considerably less can be use as opposed to natural honey and lasts me a lot longer.

Love this Agave!!
Love the Madhava Organic Agave and have been buying it for a while now. Just a heads-up though that our March order included a bottle that was missing 2 inches of syrup and did not include the safety seal. I'm sure this is an anamoly so will continue to buy, but will open each bottle when it arrives rather than waiting until I need to use it.

Fine for baking... and very nice on toast, too!
One of my favorite snacks is toast with butter and honey -- a treat I have had to give up, since I'm watching my A1C and honey has a rather high glycemic index. I've been using this agave syrup for months as a substitute for honey in baking (be sure to read about the recipe adjustments required), and tonight it occurred to me: what would toast with butter and agave syrup be like? I can report that it doesn't taste like honey. Doh... it isn't honey. But it's sweet, the tactile experience is the same, and I find the flavor very pleasant indeed. I'd be willing to say now that honey isn't a substitute for agave syrup, and never will be.

Light instead of Amber
The product is delicious, well packaged, and shipped quickly. The issue: the wrong item was shipped. I ordered amber and received light. I would have returned it but needed it before the new would have gotten here.

great product
This product delivers exactly what it promises. The quality is solid, it’s easy to use, and it performs reliably. While there’s always a bit of room for improvement, the overall experience is very positive. It offers great value and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something dependable.

Amazing syrup/nectar
What great stuff, agave nectar, syrup, or whatever people want to call it. It came from a plant, the same plant that gives up tequila. What a great little plant. I had come across this a few years ago when making margaritas. Didn't think much of it, just a simple sugar substitute. But then I read about how it's a low glycemic sugar and breaks down slowly so as not to spike your blood sugar. It's now my go-to substitute for tea and other areas where I'd put sugar or a syrup. I tried the sugar in the raw brand of agave but I think I like the Mahadva brand better. I think it's a pretty good price for the amount you get. Having used this for almost a year as my only sugar/sweetener I can really tell a difference when using regular granulated sugar or cane sugar syrup. First off, you need more to equal the sweetness of agave (never good if you're watching your sugar intake and glycemic index), but there's also the taste. There's a specific flavor to it, I guess it's more mellow than honey or sugar, and I find that I miss it when not using it. There's a lot of complaints about shipping and the seals not being good. I've had only 1-2 come like that, I was getting the 2-pk 46oz and the bottles came in the fitted box, within a larger box at times, no extra packing material. The seals being loose or not sealed at all is an issue for the Madhava, as those are placed in production, before Amazon gets them. I do wonder if the product being stored in a hot area that leads to the bottles expanding and breaking the seals. I'll continue to order this brand, despite not being able to get the 46oz recently. I love the amber over the light. Walmart in my area, Florida, has been carrying this brand, and I buy there occasionally.
