Used as personal item for British Airways and then used with the pocket expanded as personal item on AA which has bigger allowance. Lots of useful pockets, easy to carry and versatile sizing for different airlines. Very pleased with purchase.

You probably came across this bag as you were looking for a 40x30x15cm bag for a personal item on the airplane. That is exactly why we bought it too. I knew Bagzy makes great bags and I took a chance on this one. I am so glad we did. The fabric is slick and smooth and wipeable. The shoulder pad helps if you need to throw it on your shoulder quickly, but it has a strap for a suitcase too. It fit both the ipad, Kindle, and large paperback books on one side. The other side easily held charging cords, a battery pack, inflatable plane cushions (multiple), travel blanket, eye mask, and a toiletry bag. It had room for snacks and a water bottle from the airport. It truely fit more than you would expect! We had no issues using it as a personal bag on 4 airplanes. We took it all over Europe, bounced it on luggage going over cobblestone streets, and threw it on the hotel beds. It remains in perfect shape. I would highly, highly recommend this bag.

Love this bag. A little flimsy. But a good price. And all the compartments make organization so much easier. Highly recommend this bag for air travel. Don’t know why I didn’t get it sooner.

In addition to my carryon suitcase, this is a perfect soft personal item to go with it. One side zips open like a suitcase ( if needed). I thought I wanted a backpack but this met my needs for some up coming international trips. Fits perfectly under the seat. I have also used as a weekend bag!

I love a lot about this bag. It has several pockets that help with organization. It fit perfectly under the airplane seat. It has both handles and a shoulder strap. It has an expandable section and exterior pockets. Unfortunately, the plastic hardware on the shoulder strap broke on the first trip. It was a 3 week trip with multiple stays and modes of transportation. Before breaking, I think the bag made it through a long flight, a couple of train rides, a long walk from a train station, and being hauled between a car and condo several times. Another downside was the placement of the shoulder strap. Presumably because the bag is expandable, the points where the straps are secured are not in the center of the bag for either configuration. It seems the designer picked the spot in between what would work if the bag were expanded and the spot that would work if the bag were not expanded. In reality, I think the placement doesn't work great for either. It felt out of balance and awkward when using the shoulder strap.

Bought this for a trip to Italy, because it adhered to the airline's carry-on dimension requirements. And, I loved it! It was much roomier than I expected, and large enough to carry my iPad, toiletries, and a few days worth of clothes. Highly recommend.

It is true that the bag can hold a lot of things, and expands to a large size. But unless what you are carrying is clothes and underwear, it doesn't appear to offer a lot of protection. The fabric is quite thin and offers practically no padding. I was reminded of "you get what you pay for."

Works great when you have to fly Air Canada and they have different restrictions and everybody else for a carry-on.

I absolutely loved this BAGZY as my personal item for travel. The interior is very well organized, with plenty of pockets to keep everything in its place. On the outside, the large quick-access pocket and the two end pockets are thoughtfully designed. The end pockets are perfect for carrying a water bottle or an umbrella without taking up valuable space inside the bag. The size is ideal for air travel. The large exterior pocket was especially useful when going through airport security. I could quickly slip my passport and phone into it before and after screening, instead of leaving them loose in a security bin. It made the whole process more convenient and gave me extra peace of mind. I also really appreciated the expandable zipper. After my flights, I traveled by train in Poland, where there were no luggage size restrictions. Expanding the bag gave me extra room, allowing me to organize my belongings much more comfortably instead of packing everything tightly. It was a feature I didn't realize I'd appreciate so much until I used it. Considering how well designed and versatile it is, the price is also very reasonable. It offers excellent value for the money. Overall, this is a thoughtfully designed travel bag that worked perfectly for both air and rail travel. I would definitely recommend it.
