They are exactly what I was looking for and I'm really pleased! I didn't adjust the straps - the way they came was good for me. I love them - they appear to be well made and are very cute! They are so soft and comfortable - lightweight. I plan to wear them for casual - around the house and out and about when the good weather finally comes - and also think they'd be just fine dressed up for work (with a dressier t-shirt - or with a cardigan or jean jacket and some jewelry, sandals etc.) and going out for supper or an event. They washed well - I put them in a delicates bag and washed them with Woolite Darkwash and Snuggle fabric softener on my delicate cycle - then fluffed them in the dryer for about 5 minutes - then folded them and hung them to dry (like pants).
