Being a construction worker, this took me about 4 hours alone, but I definitely recommend using an impact with 5/16 Allen bit to do this quickly. At one point you will have to do this with someone to help piece things together. Overall it wasn’t too hard to build. I do wish that the bottom drawer has a rail to stop it from pushing through the face of the board. Perfect size for the kids !

Terrific bed for my kids but it is a bear to get together.

Takes a while to put together but it’s built to last. Comes in 2 boxes and they heavy as hell. This will not be a quick put together if you’re going to be doing it by yourself. Took me a few late nights of doing it. Some of the boards have splintered off over time, my youngest daughter will be in the WWE in 2040 cause she’s about that life and has a hard head

These beds are really great, the couple downsides I would say are. It is sort of a two person job to get it started in the building. It was a very long building process. And some of the backing pieces don’t quite stay in now that they are assembled. Overall, I am very pleased with these bunkbeds, especially for the price and since it’s so hard to find a bunkbed today.

Some of the parts were not quite the size necessary to fit where they were supposed to fit so damage was caused to the bed as we tried to assemble it with things that weren't quite right. There was also a piece missing or a different piece with substituted or something. We did manage to make it work and get it together, but we definitely had problems during the assembly process

The item was easily assembled in just under 4 hours. I only had to drill out two holes. Instructions are clear and understandable. The grandkids loved it. Especially, the LED lights

I couldn't find anything else like this bed with the shelving and storage. Building it with 2 people and a drill with a hexagon bit took 8 hours. I'm giving it 4 stars because the instructions were challenging and didn't match on several pages. If you've never built a piece of furniture before, this is not for you. The design and sturdiness of the bed is great. The top shelf has a section that is still bowing out. We'll need to add an extra screw to that. A good fit for our needs.
