It is very glossy so if your looking for a matte, stay away. This set is for Valentines pictures for my 1 and 2 year old boys, so the quality is fine (well see) for this occasion but if it were for a wedding I definitely wouldn't use these. Everything was too big even for the 2 year old and had to be stitched smaller, within 30 seconds of wearing the bowtie, my 1 year old pulled at it and the bow slipped right out. Ut was not even stitched in the middle to be held in place. Putting it back in and making it look proper again was a pain in the you know what. He passed away last month of cancer. I do want to tell you that he tried the neck tie on and he was so cute. The elastic was perfect and the tie is great quality, even for the human kind :)The balance of the set was nice too, though of course we did not have a use for it. The satin tie does not look cheap or feel cheap. The elastic band was a little too big for my lil man but nothing a well hidden knot couldn't fix beneath the collar. By the way whoever thought using an elastic band on the tie versus a clip is a genius. Why?! Because even though my lil man didn't want the tie on at first it and pulled on it for a good while, it held on. And the tie knot was wide enough for my son's 24mos collared shirt that you didn't see the elastic band.
