Review: Excellent fabric for a curtain! - Rich, deep inky black in sumptuous velvet. Absolutely gorgeous curtain. Did have to find a solution to the gaps between the panels (velcro tape for now) since I didn't get the grommet top variety that you can weave together on the rod, but other than that, stellar product. 100% privacy with total blackout against my west facing bedroom, and my window covering now looks layered and an intentional part in the decor rather than the too-short, ill-fitted, hurry-and-cover-it-up wreck that I had before. These are a thick, soft fabric, weighty for proper drape, and steam beautifully for a crinkle-free look, though, I didn't find much wrinkling straight out of the package anyway. Quality investment! UPDATE: Just noticed that one of the panels has a significant uneven bottom edge. At some point I'll jockey it with one of the other panels so it isn't noticeable but check yours before use.

**Q: Where do I start measuring length—from the top pocket or the bottom pocket?**
A: Our curtains feature a dual rod pocket design: Length is measured from the TOP of the curtain to the bottom hem.​ The first pocket measures 2" and second one 3". Do NOT measure from the second pocket, or your curtains will end up too short.

**Q: Why do the two curtains in one package look like different colors?**
A: This is likely due to incorrect hanging orientation. Please ensure both panels are hung with the double pocket at the TOP. Because velvet has a directional pile, hanging one panel upside down creates a "light vs. dark" effect under light reflection.

**Q: My room is dimly lit. Will the curtains look darker in person?**
A: Yes. Lighting has a major impact on color perception. In dim or warm-toned rooms, curtains will appear darker and richer​ than they do in bright daylight or in our product photos. In very bright, cool-toned light, they may look slightly lighter.

**Q: I want floor-length curtains. How do I choose between L84, L90, L96, or L108?**
A: First, measure from the top of the rod​ (or top of the upper pocket) to where you want the curtains to end Floating (1/2" above floor) Kissing the floor (just touching) Slight puddle (1–3" on floor)--Recommend! Full puddle (6"+ on floor)

**Q: How many panels do I need for my 50" width window?**
A: This item is sold as 1 Set of 2 Panels. Each panel width varies by size (42", 52", or 62"). To achieve the full, gathered look, we recommend the total curtain width be 1.5–2x your ROD width. If 50" width window, choose 52" or 62" in Qty1 is pretty.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unexpected bonus: perfect blackout curtains AND the best fold-up tablecloth I’ve found

One of my favorite unexpected discoveries with these curtains is that a single panel doubles perfectly as a fold-up tablecloth. I grabbed one on a whim while setting up for an event, and it looked fantastic — the velvet drapes beautifully, washes well, and folds up easily for storage. I’ll honestly be ordering more panels just for that purpose alone. As actual curtains, they’re just as impressive. They were packed incredibly well when they arrived — neatly folded, ready to hang, and completely free of creases. The velvet feels soft and substantial, and they instantly made the room look more finished and elevated. I originally purchased them in both olive green and beige and combined them into extra-long panels for our tall ceilings. It was a simple sewing project and saved a huge amount compared to custom drapes. The two-tone look ended up becoming one of my favorite design features in the room. They also function extremely well as blackout curtains. Even without the stiff, traditional blackout backing, they block light very effectively. We have night-shift family members who sleep during the day, and these make the room dark enough for real daytime sleep. Cleaning has been easy, and the fabric has held up well. Overall, these are beautiful, versatile, and far more useful than I expected — both as curtains and beyond. I would absolutely buy them again.
