These scissors are absolutely terrible! They don’t cut string; they can’t open plastic package wrapping; and they barely cut paper. I am disappointed.

These are excellent for their size. They’re super compact except for the length, which is necessary. As for the negative review, Dakoyu has admitted that there was a flaw in the first design, which has now been fixed. I wish they would offer an exchange for these models, but I’m happy that I have the fixed version. Dakoyu as a company is very community minded, just look them up on YouTube. This isn’t just another ghost brand that will disappear and pop back up with another name next week.

I carry these everyday. I absolutely love them. Although they are not super sharp they are good enough for me.

I love how small they are and that they have a pocket clip. They cut paper well but have a hard time cutting plastic. I can’t wait to see the next iteration.
