The fact that it was a "hair loss" shampoo was simply a plus. Although my hair is thinning, I cannot vouch that this helps in reducing hair loss. But I figure it can't hurt. What I like is the way it smells, the way it foams, and the way it so easily and cleanly rinses out, even in soft water. It leaves your 'hairs' feeling fuller, whether or not there are more of them. In fact, I like it so much that I actually look forward to taking showers and using this shampoo. This is the first hair loss shampoo I have used, and while that's not the reason I purchased it, I now notice other hair loss shampoos on Amazon as well. I have curly and thick hair and my mom has straight hair that she colors every 3 months. Both of us had similar results: shampoo didn’t moisturize, and actually dried up our hair. I would just run my fingers through my hair and a hairball would come out. I didn’t lose so much hair before but it’s because of the shampoo drying up my hair so much. I expected the shampoo to moisturize and make the hair feel more voluminous.
