Well made and very good value, use all of the kit or part thereof. 5*****
We have fitted this onto a Peugeot 2.0 HDI engine that's in a car that has a very low cold air intake and living in a rural area we have more than our fair share of flooded roads and lanes at the moment. This WateryWave cold air intake has taken the place of our standard cold air intake to ensure that we don't get into trouble with water drawn up into the air intake and risk hydrolocking the engine. Overall, the surface area of the WateryWave cone filter is probably slightly larger than standard filter so there is scope for an increase in air flow to the engine because of this, the cone filter also seems to breathe easier than the standard paper element filter so that's a plus too! Using the supplied 75mm aluminium intake pipe we were able to position the cone filter a little more forward in the engine bay, this way was better for pulling in colder air than mounting the filter directly to the MAF sensor which would have it sitting in a hotter part of the engine bay. Being a "universal" kit means that you may have to jiggle things around a little to get the best setup, we only had one small issue and that was the stepped hose connecter which was a little too small to fit onto our MAF sensor. To get around this we dropped the hose connecter into a jug of boiling water to soften it, once softened it was super easy to stretch it onto the MAF and once fitted was left to cool naturally. This was done off of the car to make things easier and worked perfectly, the hose connecter held its new shape/diameter well when removed from the MAF sensor so it didn't need any more heat put into it to fit all up to the car. The PCV valve on our HDI engine feeds into the air intake after the MAF sensor so the hose that was supplied in the kit wasn't needed and never got used, this did mean blanking the hole off in the intake pipe which has us scrabbling around for a suitable size grommet to fit the hole! Maybe it would be a good idea to supply a correct size blanking grommet in the kit as like us, not everyone is going to use the pipe on their installation! The only other thing I would mention is the increased induction noise that you get with this kit fitted, it's not overbearingly loud but there's a definite increase nonetheless. As for performance, well, we just have a standard motor so we are not going to see any marked performance increase. That said, we feel that a small increase in MPG has taken place so happy enough about that. Come the Spring when the flooded roads around here are long gone we'll probably go back to the standard intake setup again, next winter it'll be the same story with the floods so the WateryWave intake will go back into action I'm sure! Five impressed stars for build quality and price on this kit, it's perfect!

Good air filter for the price
Not bad quality On installation my car ran rough with the included pipe on it so I had to use my OEM pipe and just use the cone on the end which was ok as the kit is quite cheap so the filter is probably worth the asking price alone The pipe also included a small tube which went know where for me so I had to block that up
