Bass is too much, some people would like it though, good for playing very loud music & partying.. i previously had jbl flip 4, i liked the sound of flip 4 (it sounded more balanced) more than this one.. i adjusted the equalizer but still flip 4 sounds way much better to me.

The power of this speaker really lives up to its size. The product is bulkly but can be held in one hand. JBL portable app provides settings to control speaker's equalizer. My suggestion - keep bass to full and mid to lowest and leave treble on default or a point above. You can then use 3rd party apps such as PowerAmp Equilizer to further fine-tune the sound output. This speaker has high output on mid and bass which is good for clarity and loudness with punchy bass especially when kept in places like under the table or on shell where wooden enclosures can amplify the bass and control the mids and treble. I doubt people who are acquainted to more deeper sounds such as Bose or Sony would argue, but you can be assured that you are getting sound quality from JBL worth every penny you have spent. Similar specs on higher brands would cost double and might not even live upto the JBL standard. So do your research and visit outlets if you are evaluating various brands. You can believe me when I say that none of the online reviews are much helpful when in doubt, only listening to the device itself in a shop can relieve you of your doubts. The speaker is attractive, I have ordered red color and it looks fantastic.

I have received the jbl charge 5 on 09/04)26, after using it for 02 weeks I faced a major issue with this gadget.its get disconnected with the mobile and stops playing the audio/video after every 10 to 15 minutes .In first couple of days I just thought its just a problem with app or mobile but after 14 days of daily use I came to knew that it's a issue with the sound box only. Whenever it's get disconnected the user have to go to the sound box and attempts to get it reconnected again.At gym or any outdoor party it's makes so irritating every time.Now the returns window is also closed and I don't know what to do with this product now.such issue is not acceptable after spending 11 k on such a reputated brand.

Con utilizzo quotidiano, la cassa funziona ancora da dio, la batteria ha zero problemi e il suono è sempre ottimo, potente e non si distorce mai. La uso sia per la musica che per guardare i film e non mi ha mai deluso. Acquisto che rifarei altre centomila volte

Ich nutze den Lautsprecher regelmäßig unterwegs und auch zu Hause. Gerade für Ausflüge oder im Garten ist er sehr praktisch. Der Sound ist klar und hat ordentlich Druck, auch bei höherer Lautstärke. Für die Größe kommt da wirklich einiges raus. Die Akkulaufzeit ist stark, man kommt lange ohne Nachladen aus. Auch die Powerbank-Funktion ist im Alltag ganz praktisch. Die Verarbeitung wirkt robust und durch die Wasserfestigkeit kann man ihn problemlos draußen nutzen. Für mich ein zuverlässiger Lautsprecher für viele Situationen.
