Amacx is easily absorbed and provides good fuel for shorter runs. There are a few problems with it for longer runs: The packaging is stiff and the opening is small, making it difficult to extract and hurts the sides of my mouth. It's awkward to try to empty the stiff packets and hard to open if it's a long cold run and hands are cold. It can be put into a water bottle but even that requires 2 hands to empty each packet. Also, the raspberry tastes like the red Nyquil--awful. Were I able to stand the taste for longer runs I think it would be great because my body felt fantastic and energetic. I think maybe just use it in a miniflask for shorter runs. It's thick enough that you can load it into a flask as orange/raspberry/o/r and kind of gage your intake like that (one flavor per mile.) It's easier to use in a bottle for sure. Effective fuel if you can stand the flavor and thickness.
